European union has more strict and protective laws for cosmetics than the USA. EU has corrected the Instruction Cosmetics to forbid use of chemicals which are known or are insistently suspected of generation of a cancer, a mutation or congenital defects. This amendment has come into force in September 2004. (Visit the European commission online for last time of the corrected Instruction of Cosmetics in repeated languages.) the European union also suggests to change a way which it regulates all chemicals that health of the person is better to protect. EU wishes to demand, that the chemical companies have checked up chemicals on effects of health before they will be placed in the market. Bush’s government worked to prevent to pass to Europe these protective laws.
